Welcome, circa. 2018b

Founded in 1995, Black Riders works and plays in an eclectic collision of writing, storytelling, visual design, print culture, technology, and human interaction. We’ve started referring to it as Neo Bibliology, the (re)new(ed) study of the history, art, and science of “books” as objects.

Within that space, we like to help individuals and organizations (re)imagine, (re)design, and (re)invent themselves wherever we can. We don’t do a whole lot of work these days, but if you have an unusual problem to solve, or need help with an interesting project, we’re happy to sit down with you and have a conversation. We’ve been known to tackle both traditional communications and design projects, as well unusual business and branding challenges, with curiosity, strategy, and passion.

Whether working on a project or simply feeding our own curiosity, Black Riders thrives on exploring the interactions between people, our stories and myths, and the tools we use for connecting and sharing them with each other. We welcome you to join us in that conversation.

(Yeah, we know… not a lot else here yet. We’re just in the middle of revamping our site, so our apologies that we’re a little light on content at the moment. Please check back again as we start (re)posting projects and articles!)
