In a word… a follow up

Submitted for your consideration, growing out of the richness of mental mulch from an earlier post and discussion, a different way to ask the question, or maybe it's a different question entirely:

Where do you start from?

Do you start from a place of curiosity? Do you start from hope or gratitude? Do you start from an impulse to create, or an impulse to change? Or do you start from a place of fear?

I like the word impulse. What's your first impulse?

Is your first impulse to ask a question? To be grateful? To leap in? Or to raise shields?
