When encountering anything that conflicts with your own preconceived notions, the challenge is to say neither “No! You’re wrong!” nor “Oh no, I was wrong!” but rather to think “wait, something’s wrong.”

Or perhaps even better, “wait, something’s going on here…”

And then let your curiosity lead…
